RELATIONSHIPS (symbiosis)
Mutualism-When both parts of the relationship benefits each other
When Tasmanian devils eat road kill and human don't have to clean or smell the road kill
Commensalism- when one part of the relationship benefits and the other does not affect itwhen Tasmanian devils eat road kill and Human don't have to clean or smell the road kill
Mutualism and commensalism can go both ways when it comes to the relationship.
Parasitism- when one part of the relationship benefits and the other part is getting harmed
Part that benefits is the the virus (Devil facial tumor disease)

environmental problems
Deforestation is one problem with the Tasmanian devil. When we cut down dense forest or vegetation in an area we are not only killing trees and other animals but we are moving Tasmanian devil out of their home and that one issue that the Tasmanian devil cannot find a stable home/living environment. If we keep cutting down dense forest/vegetation the Tasmanian wont be able to live in the area anymore.

Problems
One of the main problems that the Tasmanian devil is facing is a disease that is highly contagious. It is responsible for major of the Tasmanian death in some places up to 89% it can spread from one Tasmanian devil to the next by contact. It could wipe out the whole species in the next 40 years. Its contagious like the disease in humans for a example is ring worm. Ring worm is spread through direct contact.
Solving The Problem
the only way that a Tasmanian devil are safe from the diseases is to be in captivity since there is no cure. Because finding a cure for a virus is hard enough they have to face not only the infected but they are racing against time to stop the spread and the only way to stop the disease is to keep the healthy away and to let the infected die until there is some type of cure.
Another way that the general public can help is to donate to help fund research and to help feed the captive Tasmanian devil.
